The Company
Miller Networks, Inc., a fast growing company in the networking and client-server
sales and support marketplace, is seeking motivated sales people. Miller Networks,
Inc. has been in business since 1996 serving the greater bay area market with
computer and networking design, implementation and ongoing system administration.
Our existing customers range from local government to small businesses. We offer

Job Description: Outside Sales
As Miller Networks' primary sales person you will be responsible for generating
future business and meeting revenue goals. You will peruse potential customers
using your own contact list and cold calling. You will be given a company profile
to target as potential customer, and working with the engineering staff design
prepackaged solutions to sell. You will prepare power point presentations for
customers, prepare quotes for goods and services, and maintain accurate records
of businesses and their representatives that you have contacted and possible
sales opportunities.
Goal:
Your revenues goal should be approximately one millions dollars within two years and
two million the third year
Responsibilities
1. Develop an maintain an annual business plan that will be modified and updated
on a quarterly basis. The plan will include clear, concise plans, goals and
objectives to meet annual quotas
2. Submit weekly reports that are accurate and timely regarding activities and
results such as customers contacted, Name of contact, ETA of signed PO, and
lead time of equipment & services sold
3. Put together proposals and quote for network and server solutions
4. Construct Power Point presentation for sales leads.
5. Communicate customer needs to MNI's technical engineers for best fit solution
to solve customer's problem
6. Perform joint sales calls with Senior Network Engineers to make technical
presentations
7. Identify potential customer, establish contact list
8. Build out sales teams for Government and educational markets
Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Valid driver's license.
2. No travel required.
3. Minimum of two (2) years experience (outside sales and/or direct sales)
4. A self-starter and results-oriented personality required.
5. Experience selling services in a B2B environment.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. PC proficient in a Windows environment with standard corporate productivity
tools (email, vmail, MS Office Suite).
8. Strong organization and time management skills essential.
9. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Generate leads make cold calls
